Affiliate Fraud: McAfee (Expired Antivirus Scam)

. Description: Rogue security software affiliates are sending emails/adverts that falsely tell recipients that their antivirus software is expiring and then prompt them to renew their license so that the affiliate can earn a commission from the sale. These emails/adverts will link to websites that impersonate Symantec (Norton) McAfee, Bullgaurd etc.. and will always appear even if the victim does not have or use the software in the affected email/advert.
